Slapjack Creek Pinot Noir

Current Release: 2009

Slapjack Creek Pinot Noir WineThis complexly layered wine has a deep ruby red colour with a nose of blackberries and violets with a richly perfumed undertone. The palate is densely packed with flavours of dark cherries and plums with hints of clove spice. The elegant fruit notes are supported by well integrated oak adding muscle and rusticity to the wine. The silky tannins linger in the mouth whilst the salivating acidity gives the wine a juicy long finish. This barrel selection was blended with cellaring in mind and will benefit from decanting if enjoyed in the first three years.

Jackson Barry Pinot Noir

Current Release: 2010

JAckson Barry WineThis youthful wine has a deep ruby colour with a nose of cassis and a subtle garrigue undertone of lavender and thyme. The palate is densely packed with flavours of dark cherries and plums. Well integrated oak adds structure with a spicy nuance whilst also amplifying the fruit character. The tannins are inky and long in the mouth with a persistent acid vein tying the wine together. This wine was built to age and will benefit from decanting if drunk in the first three years.

Nipple Hill Pinot Noir WineThe nose is full of cherries and blueberries with some subtle minty notes. The cherries carry through to the palate with a wine of great fruit weight, fresh acidity and smooth tannins.

Summer Dreaming Rose

Summer DreamingThe wine has a beautiful pink hue with cups full of raspberries and strawberries on the nose. The palette shows classic Summer Dreaming flavours of strawberries and cream with floral undertones and red currant and orange zest on the finish. The fresh flavours and balance of this wine make it a fabulous aperitif in summer and it also pairs nicely with salads, salmon and berry desserts.

Charcoal Joe Chardonnay

Current Release: 2009

The nose is of grapefruit, lychee and golden wheat, followed by a palate full of pineapple, honey and lemon-drops. Lees stirring has given the wine great texture whilst the acidity gives a precise and lingering finish.

Bannockburn Club Chardonnay WineThis un-oaked wine was designed to be crisp and refreshing with subtle layers of complexity. On the nose there are hints of orange blossom, mango and butterscotch. The palate delivers flavours of juicy melon, a nutty spice and a lime-zest finish. Enjoy chilled on its own or with summer salads and fresh seafood.

Tom Logan Pinot Gris

Current Release: 2011

Notes of dried apple, poached pear and orange blossom on the nose lead to a round mid-palate that is accentuated by fresh orchard fruit flavours and a persistent minerality. The wine has a rich texture with a lingering finish that is balanced by zesty acidity and judicious alcohol. This Pinot Gris is very versatile for food matching and is equally pleasing served nicely chilled on a summer's day or in a big glass by a warm winter's fire.

Dry Riesling WineThis wine has a typical Central Otago nose of honeysuckle flowers and melon with notes of apple, honey and lime zest on the palate. The racey acidity is balanced with a touch of residual sugar which lends to a broad mid-palate and a crisp and lingering finish.

Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvingnon Blanc WineThe 2010 vintage shows more of the classic Sauvignon Blanc characters of capsicum and gooseberry but it still has the hallmark Central Otago SB "tropical" flavours of pineapple and lychee. The wine is vibrant and zesty and is best enjoyed young and fresh.

Gewurztraminer WineEssence of rose petals, lavender oil, and grated fresh ginger dusted with icing sugar dominate the nose. The palate is long and lush with flavours of tropical fruits, candied ginger and a hint of green tea aromas. The wine is finishes clean and crisp with lingering spice and balanced acidity.
