notes The grapes for this Riesling were very ripe with approximately ten percent "noble rot" (Botrytis cinerea). They were handpicked from cordon cut vines and pumped into our bag press and left over night on skins before pressing. The juice was left to cold settle for three days then racked, lees filtered and inoculated with yeast. The very sweet juice was tank fermented slowly at 15degreesC. The wine was lightly fined, cold and protein stabilised prior to sterile filtration and bottling in September 2003. |

description Exquisitely delicious aromas of liquid pink grapefruit and tropical fruits this wine is crisp and clean, yet sweet. Superb with deserts but wonderful too as an aperitif or be decadent and try it well chilled with a late breakfast. |
