notes Fruit for this wine was hand picked and gently whole bunch pressed to tank. The juice was inoculated with yeast and fermented at 20 to 25 degreesC until dry. The wine was left on yeast lees to go through malolactic fermentation. These lees were stirred weekly to add mouth feel and complexity. The resulting wine was racked, lightly fined, sterile filtered and bottled in August 2004. |

description This is a crisp clean wine that exudes fresh stone fruit aromas on the nose and fills the mouth with lingering apricot flavours. Great with food and especially suited to those who don't like overpowering oak in their Chardonnay. Awards Not shown |
