  Winemakers notes

Handpicked grapes were whole bunch pressed to barrel (all French 30% new). The barrels were inoculated with yeast and fermented up to 20-25 degrees c. The wine was left on yeast lees and a portion of the barrels were inoculated for malolactic fermentation. The wine was then left on lees and stirred weekly. After nine months the wine was racked, lightly fined and sterile filtered. The wine was then bottled on the 15th of February 2005.

 
  Wine description

Soft and voluptuous on the nosedisplaying aromas of melons and stone fruitssupported by lovely vanilla and cedar tones from well integrated oak. It is crisp and fresh in the mouth, full in the mid palateprogressing to a soft and silky lingering finish. Excellent food wine. Serve lightly chilled with fish, chicken or pork dishes.
