  Winemakers notes
Riesling grapes were handpicked early in the harvest from the first eleven rows of the older Central Block Riesling. The vineyard was monitored closely to ensure that the Riesling was picked at the early spectrum of ripening in order to create a wine that preserves the natural sweetness. After the juice was racked and fermented in a stainless steel tank. Minimal handling ensure the wine maintained its freshness and balance. Annieburn Riesling was sterile filtered without fining in August 2009.

  Wine description
The nose is bursting with aromas of sliced nectarine and lime juice. The mouth - watering palate is laden with flavours of early season stone fruit and finishes with the sensation of freshly grated lime zest. This off - dry style has a natural sweetness that is precisely balanced by ripe acidity and with a generous lengthen and fleshy texture. This wine is beautiful as an aperitif or can be paired with shell fish, cheeses and fresh fruit deserts.
